リーディングのコツ

僕は、リーデディングの質にすごく困っていた。初見で見た英文が全く理解出来ないことが良くあった。なぜそのようなことが起こったのかを整理したら以下のことを全く行っていなかった。

１、Assess the task

When you begin to read a passage, you should overlook the overall passage. 

→To catch the headlines and the subheadlines in order to understand the detail information. 

２、Ask questions

Even if you do not understand the passages, you should try to make a question.

→To skip the irrevant information and anticipate what the author wants to say.

３、Decrease subvocalization

You feel that reading speed is so slow, you should listen to music while reading a material.

→To allow you to read faster and avoid moving your lips as if saying each word.

４、Read groups of words 

If you read a sentence in a word to a word, you can read in a group.

→To recognize the whole word in order to create grupes at once.

５、Use a pointer

When you are confused because getting lost in a reading passge, it is about time to use a pointer.

→To stay focused and get the pace for reading.

６、Expant your vocabulary

→Memorize and meet many vocabularies.

７、Play the "recall" game

→To help your comprehention by writing a few key words in each paragraph.
